a new anxiety
diary of a programmer 100
this morning I woke up with a new anxiety:
I hope I don’t reach my rate limit.
sure enough I was sweating
under two duvet covers
working with claude,
guiding him on how to develop
a system of design tokens
for a new app I’m calling
“Richest Bitches”.
this is what you call modern day anxiety.
this is what you call the umbrella of ai
uncertainty coming for all of us.
when I go out and get on the train
everyone is walking around normally,
as if with the newest model release
for claude, when he sheds his opus skin
and goes through growth spurts, as if
the moment of singularity and AGI is not
just around the corner ready to jump us
like a mugger wielding a knife he coded
himself which has the UX of a 1999
internet site coded with frames.
